Hotel Balmoral - Bournemouth

Very impressed with double room with a view.

The place was quiet, nothing too much trouble, would recommend. Everything was perfect, pleasant staff, amazing views of the beach. The service was absolutely excellent. The location itself was stunning and awesome, near a victorian pier. Besides, it was so close to Bournemouth Pier, main areas and a hill.

Request a room in the refurbished section for a more comfortable stay. The older rooms show wear and tear.

Cozy sitting areas made my stay pleasant, but the decor felt outdated.

We explored Alum Chine Beach and spent some time at the Boscombe Chine Gardens Mini Golf Course, a blast. The hotel is family-run, and we enjoyed digital television in our comfortable room. I'd definitely recommend it for a fun getaway!

The bathroom was a bit dated, which seemed to be a common issue mentioned by other guests, but it didn't affect our stay much.

The location is ideal, a mere five-minute walk to the beach and surrounded by restaurants. The early check-in was a pleasant surprise, allowing more flexibility with our schedule. One challenge was a steep hill leading into the town, which may be tricky for those with mobility issues.

Lovely stay with a hiccup

Had a nice weekend getaway with my partner. The refurbed room was clean, but those super soft pillows were a letdown. Breakfast was tasty, and Margaret at the front desk was a gem! Just watch out for the steep hill up to the beach. All in all, we enjoyed our time, just not sure about returning.

Fantastic location near the beach and really friendly staff! Our room was clean n comfy, perfect for a couple. The breakfast was delish, and we even got a free continental breakfast offer after we checked in! Can't forget to mention how lovely the building looks, though it has seen better days.
